Projekti number: 2017-1-EE01-KA202-034885

Projekti periood: September 2017-Aprill 2019

Koostööprojekti eesmärgiks on tõsta kutsehariduse kvaliteeti autotehnikute erialal Euroopas.

Project Summary

The partners have recognized similar problems in educating car vocations students. They need
contemporary technical study stands (e.g. Electric Car Stand, Multimedia Stand) that meet the needs
of the curricula with innovative e-study materials. The teachers of Car Technicians, Electronics and IT
possess the knowledge and skills needed for meeting the target.

The project aims to make instructions and technical drawings for six study stands and build them for
using in the training of Car Technician students in collaboration with partners from different
countries. The intellectual output also includes e-study materials which include study materials for
students and lesson plans for teachers; study materials for specialised English for CLIL method;
simplified version for students with special educational need; multilingual mini vocabulary. The aim is
also to provide sustainable solutions for vocational training and give the education transnational
dimension.

Duration of the project: 20 months (September 2017-April 2019).

There are six partners in the project:
Pärnumaa Vocational Education Centre is the initiator of the project and is also the coordinator.
Profesionalas izglitibas kompetences centrs "Rigas Tehniska koledza" (Riga Technical College, Latvia)
Kėdainių profesinio rengimo centras (Lithuania)
Kayseri Merkez Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey)
Järvamaa Vocational Training Centre (Estonia)

The instructions and technical drawings for the stands are created in English. The stands are built by
the partners and the work is done in collaboration between students and teachers, project work and
problem work methods are used. Each partner prepares the drawings and instructions for one
particular stand but the technical difficulties and problems are overcome in co-operation between
the partners. Hence the final cost of each stand is low and enables sustainable investments for
vocational schools and better training for students. Each partner creates the whole e-study course
for utilization of the stands. The collaboration between the partners provides development of the
language skills and adds a cultural aspect to the work.
The e-study materials and technical drawings with the instructions will be open to use for all schools
and organisations in EU.

The project includes five transnational meetings for the VET specialists and a dissemination seminar
for distribution of the intellectual output and exchange of good practices during the final
transnational meeting. The transnational meetings include peer-to-peer learning sessions for the VET
specialists. During the sessions several topics are covered (e.g. technical drawing, teaching the
students with special needs).

The web page is established to provide work environment and disseminate the intellectual outputs.
Social media page is opened for communication of the students of the partner institutions and for
distribution the activities and results.
